Description

The CMOS inverter is the fundamental building block of digital logic circuits. This project involves designing, simulating, and analyzing the performance of a CMOS inverter using Synopsys Sentaurus

TCAD. The aim is to understand the behavior of CMOS inverters, including their switching characteristics, power consumption, and noise margins.

• Design a CMOS inverter using NMOS and PMOS transistors.

• Simulate the inverter’s electrical characteristics using Sentaurus TCAD.

• Analyze key parameters such as switching threshold, noise margin, and power consumption.

• Perform transient analysis to study the inverter's response to input signal changes.
